Terms of Use
These terms cover the use of this website, which is run by Fairfield Fireplace Service LLC. By using the site you accept them.
What this website is for
This site tells you about Fairfield Fireplace Service LLC and the fireplace and stove work we do, and gives you a way to get in touch and ask us to come out. That is its whole purpose.
A service request is an enquiry, not a contract
Sending the Request Service form, calling us, emailing us or sending us photographs is you asking us to get in touch. It is not an agreement between us.
On its own, sending a request does not:
- Create a service contract or a home improvement contract
- Book an appointment or guarantee we have one available
- Set a price, or count as an estimate or a quote
- Authorise us to carry out any work
- Guarantee that we are able to do the work you have described
Any work we take on is agreed separately, with you, after we have spoken. Whether we can do a particular job may depend on what it involves, what it requires by way of licensing, permits or inspections, what is safe to do, and other requirements that apply to that kind of work.
What you send us
Please give us information that is accurate as far as you know it — the address, the type of unit and what is wrong are what we plan around, and a guess we cannot tell from a fact costs everyone a visit.
Only send photographs you are entitled to send. Do not send anything that belongs to someone else, or anything you would not want us to have.
What we do with any of it is described in our Privacy Policy.
This site is not for emergencies
Nobody is watching this website for emergencies. A request sent here waits until we read it.
If you think you have a gas leak, an active fire, a carbon monoxide emergency, or any other situation that is dangerous right now, contact the emergency services or your utility company straight away. Do not wait for a reply from this website.
Reviews and other third-party content
Our Reviews page shows review content published by Google and written by other people. We did not write it.
We do not control what reviewers say, which reviews Google shows, the order they appear in, or whether they are available at all. A review on that page is the reviewer’s opinion, not a statement by us.
Who owns what on this page
The Fairfield Fireplace Service name, logo, photographs of our own work, and the text written for this site belong to us. Please do not copy or reuse them without asking.
Google’s name, logo and the review content shown on our Reviews page belong to Google and to the people who wrote the reviews, and are used according to Google’s terms. Anything else on the site that came from somewhere else belongs to whoever owns it. We claim nothing that is not ours.
Accuracy and availability
We try to keep what is on this site current and correct. Even so, what we offer and when we are available can change, and a page can be out of date or simply wrong. If something here matters to your decision, ask us and we will confirm it.
We also cannot promise the site is always reachable. It may be unavailable at times, planned or otherwise.
The limits of what this site can do
This website gives general information and a way to contact us. It is not advice about your particular fireplace, stove or chimney, and it is not a substitute for someone qualified looking at it.
Please do not rely on this site alone to decide whether something is safe to use.
Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under consumer protection or other law that applies to you.
Which law applies
We operate in North Jersey, and New Jersey law applies to these terms, along with any other law that applies to us regardless.
Changes to these terms
We may update this page. If we do, the date below changes with it.
